Just thought i'd let others know, Tomorrow Thurs 7th Alaska Railroad is running a special from Anchorage or Wasilla to Hurricane Turn for $39 per person. Since it started snowing here today not sure if i should just go ahead and book it for Ed and myself, will talk to him at work and see.

What a great ride the Hurricane Train is/was. I have loads of photos to sort through. The train stops on the bridge over Hurricane Gulch for about an hour, just so you can sit and enjoy the view of Denali.

If you missed the Hurricane Turn last month, there's another hot deal for the Feb. 4th train - 2 can ride for the price of 1, so two Alaskans can ride for under a hundred bucks.
