My GF and I will be moving to Juneau in 2 months so we're scrambling to sort all this stuff out. She's 85% landed a job(thus the move) and I started looking last week when I found out. we're both outdoor enthusiast and after researching the climate I think we can handle it. look forward to learning more and I'm certain I'll come up with some questions as we go along here.


ooo I got one, are there any home brew(beer and wine) supply stores up there?

Yes, the ktchen shop in the Nugget Mall stocks beer making supplies. Both equipment and ingredients. I'm not sure if they have wine making supplies.

sweet. This place is sounding better and better everyday.......as i'm from florida im already used to big arse mosquitos, snow birds, and tourist. Now we just have to figure out all the other BS.

Well girlfriend is being flown out for the face to face meeting. I've spoken with a couple folks and will now be applying like a mad man. Tentative move date is the mid to end of may depending on me and my job status.....

Profesional with a BS degree and Management exsperiance looking for a job
