Just saw the promo for River Monsters (animal planet) TV show.
Next week the show is "Alaskan Horrow" which is about
white sturgeon.
The show promo says "Extreme angler Jeremy Wade searches for the lethal lake monster of native legend that's been dragging people down to an icy grave for centuries."

First, sharks in the ocean. Then, snapping turtles in the ponds. And, now Goliath Tigerfish in the rivers. Forget it, I'm swimming in my bath tub.

That's probably the Lake Clark or Lake Illiamna monster. Spend some time out there and you will hear about it. No one has actually seen a sturgeon for sure, but some have seen some real big fish...maybe beluga whales...from the air.
