Just curious if $95-100K is enough for a single guy to live comfortably in the Albany area. I'm originally from the Manchester area of New Hampshire, is it a similar atmosphere?

Thanks!

I guess it depends on your definition of living "comfortably" but, for me, $90 - $100k is more than enough. I'm a single guy living "comfortably" in Albany on about $30k less than that.

this is just so amazing I cant tell if it is even a joke. I know single people living comfortable on 20K - 25K. I know families that live on 25K/yr and are happy and content and no they are not eating off the street and living under bridges either. All I know is I think the majority of people in the Albany area would just die for 95-100K. With that wage I think the only place you would not have everything you ever wanted would be Long Island. you must have quite the lifestyle.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I've been living in the south for the last 13 years or have become spoiled with how cheap everything is down here.
