I thought that too.

I thought the market for Los Lunas was for people who wanted lower mortgage payments yet still within commuting distance of Albuquerque.

For $275k in this market you can get quite a home here in Albuquerque.

Does anyone have any information/insight into what NM department of transportation has planned for relief of what sounds like some congestion in and around Los Lunas? It seems that I recall reading that something had been proposed but it does not sound like, from what I can gather here, that that has been made official. I'm interested from the employment aspect as I am looking to move to that area, and my SO works in the construction industry. Just curious, any info to share would be helpful.

Thanks!

Enjoy living in NM and yes, the malls. You can even go to Traders Joes now. They have been there for about 2 or so years. Rumors and it is just rumor, they may open a store in LL.

Sunny, the biggest problem facing the east/west route in LL is getting people to realize it is needed and deciding where to build a new route. No one wants to have their land developed, but everyone agrees something has to be done.

when i read this i had to laugh about a website for meadow lake that I saw a few months back. Tells the truth about out there

Jose87031 tried to post this link:

Welcome to Meadow Lake -- http://www.meadowlakenm.org (http://www.meadowlakenm.org/index.htm - broken link)

This is pretty funny and sad at the same time.

It is too bad people think of Los Lunas and Meadow Lakes at the same time. There is so much difference in the two locations. In fact they even have different county commissioners even though Meadow Lakes is part of Los Lunas.
