I've been going to the Flying Stars since I moved here because they have shady patios where dogs are welcome. I like the FS but I want to expand my horizons and find some new places to enjoy. My main criteria is the shade and dog allowing, the type of food is not that important. If anyone has any places to recommend, I'd love to hear about them!

I highly recommend the Green Jeans Farmery, which is several eateries and a Santa Fe Brewing Co. taproom constructed from containers, designed around a courtyard which welcomes dogs. It's not all shaded but you can find some areas in the shade depending on time of day. It's off of Carlisle just north of I-40:
