Never heard of it. Can't imagine French food would be a biggie in New Mexico.

Sorry, tried it in El Paso and was NOT impressed. Salty, otherwise unremarkable. I was so disappointed!

I've never heard of it either. As far as French food, Albuquerqueans have pretty diverse tastes. It is bistro food apparently, salt of the earth fare. Who knows? It may work.

For those of us from elsewhere, it will be welcomed. I used to eat there all the time in Dallas. All the locations had meeting rooms you could 'rent' for the cost of your attendees simply buying a meal. I hope they do that here, we have a serious shortage of restaurant meeting rooms, especially for small groups meeting in the evenings.

I will probably try it after it has been built and has been operational for a while...

Meantime, it is 07:18 hours. I need food right now.

Well, I am "from elsewhere",
having lived from New England to Florida to California and points in between.
I've never heard of that restaurant chain.

La Madeleine is a restaurant chain based in Dallas that started in the early 80s. They have locations basically in the southern US. I can't vouch for whether or not they have anything "French" about their food, but I enjoyed eating there for lunch in the 90s (in Houston). Since then -- like so many chain restaurants -- the quality of the food declined as the company grew. Despite saying that, I'd still recommend giving them a try.

Meh. I've eaten at several of this chain's outlets. Haute cuisine it ain't.

St. Clair Winery offers good French country fare.

Is there a "real" reasonable French bistro in ABQ? Not like onion soup & melted cheese -- not that there is anything wrong with that. With great roast chicken and pommes frites, that sort of thing. How is La Crepe Michael? Seems touristy.
