My lady friend and I enjoy going out for breakfast on Sunday mornings.

We've liked the offerings at places like the Calico Cafe, Weck's, the Mule Barn, Abuelita's (in Bernalillo), Hanna's and Nate's (in Corrales) and The Range.

Are there any other places out there that someone could recommend?

Thanks.

It's not elegant but they make a killer garden omelette - Western Frontier diner on Central, just east of Coors. If you like the Frontier, you'll like this place - I think the food (and coffee) is better, and it's the kind of place where they take the time to recognize the regulars.

The Sunday brunch at Two Fools Tavern on Central. It's an Irish pub - brunch is 11 - 3pm.

There is an ad above for Casa De Benevides. They don't open
for breakfast till 8 am, but the atmosphere is wonderful. You
are a little late for the outside areas in the morning by the waterfall.

I pretty much always get Huevos Rancheros anywhere I go and
theirs is killer.

Get off at the 2nd street exit from Paseo and head S to El Pueblo
about 75 yards. Take El Pueblo to 4th and go S again to Wayne.
(Wayne actually goes to 2nd if you like.)

Casa De Benevides is on the SE corner of Wayne and 4th.

For a 6:30 am breakfast, I generally go to Garcia's or Weck's.
For an anytime breakfast, you can't beat the Frontier and I also
like the Village Inn.

Seferino's on Central across from Checker Auto(east of San Mateo) has the best Mexican Food in town. Period. I have eaten at all the other Mexican Places in town and Seferino's #5 blue corn enchilada plate with roast beef and red chile is the best in town. The food has great taste and isn't over-priced. I can't say the same for other places. Seferino's is the only mexican food place I go to anymore.

I like the Flying Star. There are locations all over town now. The one in Corrales is very nice. It has a very cozy feeling. There is a bookstore next door. Every breakfast I've ever had there has been perfect.

Default Mmmmm Breakfast

I regularly go to Le Peep. I Le Love the Huevos Rancheros and their green chile is never a disppointment. Despite the latest report in the ABQ Magazine, Golden Pride has the best breakfast burritos in town. Not really a place to "have" breakfast though.
