How would you describe each of these wines? (inexpensive, better)

Ah....that is an extensive list of marginal wines....lol..and some more marginal than others. (Riunite? Seriously?) Serve them cold at an informal party....but then there are even better boxes to have on hand.

I think the only one you're missing is Franzia.
What makes them marginal? I would love to know! And what wines are "good"?
"Good" is in the eye of the beholder. Of the lot, I'd take Bota Box or Sutter Home.
Bota Box boxes are known to leak, and I frequently see damaged ones on store shelves.
As for Sutter Home, I'm a bit puzzled why they have a burger recipe contest. Isn't wine more for the steak crowd, while beer is for the burger crowd? On a similar note, Red Robin at one time was "gourmet burgers and spirits", but now is "gourmet burgers and brews". I always was a bit surprised by the spirits part... but it's really ridiculous if my suspicion is true that Puritanical people made a stink and had the "spirits" changed to "brews".
You really should give Inglenook another try. But the Inglenook wines of today are actually completely different from the ones of yesteryear. They are made at the same property but by a whole different ownership, and are much more upscale than the Inglenook of the past. The old wines still exist but have been renamed St Regis Reserve, and are made at a different property.
