Latin America is now pretty much covered by Google Street View.

What about a thread to show random places of Latin America on Google Street View?

Not famous places, just some random place that you want to show, to give an idea of the great diversity of Latin America.

Let me start with the small town of Piracuruca, located in the semi-arid hinterlands ("sertão") of the state of Piauí, the poorest state in Brazil:

It's a charming little town.

Great now the zillions of criminals, thieves and vagabonds have a new resource and birds eye view of everyones home, exactly how they live and how and where to have access..

Thank you google..

I've heard from alot of people here in Arg that are kinda upset about this because of this very reason.. they find it very unsettling.

Not really, more like half of it. Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Central America and the Caribbean still miss. And some parts of the countries already covered.

I really like looking at cities through google street view, though sometimes I get a bit restless because I wish I could visit all the places right now. I was looking at some places in Brazil like Manaus and Belem. There is something about those Northern cities that is really appealing to me.

Probably the vegetation.

Manaus and Belem have a very humid and hot climate, and amazing equatorial trees everywhere.
