If Rosario had become the capital of Argentina, as was proposed (but then vetoed) in 1868, 1869, and 1873, would it have kept "Rosario" as its name or would it have changed its name (e.g. something like "San Martin" or "Rivadavia", the Argentine equivalents of "Washington", "Jefferson", etc.)? In other words, I see that in 1871 when it was proposed to move the Argentine capital from Buenos Aires to Villa Maria, Cordoba Province, they were going to rename it "Rivadavia", after Bernardino Rivadavia, who was the president of Argentina in 1825 and 1826. Was there any similar proposed name change at any of the times that Rosario was going to be the capital?

Plus, would Rosario have a bigger population than in real life? One more thing, would Rosario be more of an administrative centre like Washington DC, Ottawa, Canberra, Brasilia, etc., more of the industrial port and immigrant/anarchist centre that it has been OTL, or some of both?
