20" connex, 30,000 loaded, need to get it on a truck and hauled to Seward. Have a quote of $1500, looking for something cheaper.

I don't have a specific company to recommend but usually the bigger roll back flat bed tow trucks can handle the 20 footers. But 30k loaded is pretty dang heavy. $1500 doesn't sound too crazy expensive for that.

I sometimea see people on CL offering container moving from time to time. Or call some companies that sell containers? Good luck.

I would call Lynden, Carlile and AFF and get quotes from all three. It's been a while but I'm pretty sure all of them will haul your container with their power unit

Sourdough Express would be another one to try.

I didn't catch this until just now, but I would be very careful about soliciting carriers from CL, first ensuring that they were bonded and insured, etc., before engaging any actual work.

Not soliciting, just asking if anyone has had to get something like this done before.
