I rescued my dog off the street, and for the life of me cannot figure out what kind of dog he is. I want to start training him for agility cause he's got crazy amount of energy, he's about 9 months old and 40lbs. FAST too, super smart.

Wow............he is so cute! Really like the mottled colors he has too.

I think you should post those pics in the Dog Forum..............you would have a better chance of someone being able to identify his lineage.

I got most of my dogs off the street too..........they are the best.

I'd say boxer mix too, (fits with that brindle pattern and with the energy level!) but who knows??? I agree with posting this over in the dog forum. Have fun with him, and good for you for giving him a good home!

I'd say that's a pretty good bet.

Whatever he is ...he sure is pretty....nothing brightens the day like a friendly puppy....until he starts chewing the house to the ground...

My (now 10 year old) dog sent more shoes to an early grave....she grew out of it but not until she put a serious dent in the shoe budget.

That's what I was going to say, too. You can see the lab in his face, and the coloring and body say boxer. By the way, labs can be VERY energetic too, so you will probably have lots of fun with him!

from the looks of the puppy he looks like he will be easy to train . i got a mix breed dog from the Animal Shelter in Prescott and am very happy with him . except for one thing . he had been trained for something and they had gotten rid of him . his training must have consisted of getting hit on his head . took me two years so he would not flinch and cringe when i went to pet him .
