Default Driving in Arizona's Duststorms

Moonsoon season will soon be here and along with the season comes the DUST.

Please, check the link below for SAFETY tips on how to best handle one of these storms. The storms are usually short lived -

If dense dust is observed blowing across or approaching a roadway, pull your vehicle off the pavement as far as possible, stop, turn off lights, set the emergency brake, take your foot off of the brake pedal to be sure the tail lights are not illuminated.

Excellant advice, this from a driver of 'big' trucks. I don't like driving in dust storms even in my big truck. I pull off the road and wait for it to clear, usually less than a half hour.

Dust storms are hard on windshields and paint jobs...there is nothing fun about them! But the above advice is all good!

Worse than blizzards? really?? thats just crazy. These Michigan roads get so bad that you cant even stop..even when your car is crawling.. sliding all over the place.. cant see a thing..people behind you cant stop.. and dont get me started on trying to go again.. darn black ice.. or sheets of ice for that matter. But then again you said 'blizzards' not exactly 'pure ice' ...WINTERS ARE SCARY!
