PHOENIX - Arizona public school students will have new rights to express religious viewpoints under a bill signed by Gov. Jan Brewer.

The ``Students Religious Liberties Act'' prohibits schools from discriminating against students or parents on the basis of religious viewpoint or expressions.

Under the bill signed Friday, prayer and other religious activities are to be permitted ``to the same extent that students may engage in nonreligious activities or expression.''

Awesome. God needs to be in Schools, just like the old days. That is what is wrong with kids these days, they have no morals or guidance.

But who's to say everyone believes in God, or the same concept of God?

That's where the problem lies.

Any other link beyond KTAR? KTAR is too much focused on response than fact.

So you should show some tollerance for those that want to pray. Not everyone believes in the same thing but yet we do try to endure their beliefs so I don't see why God is such a threat to people. When they start pulling you off the beach for having a young woman in your company who is not your sister, then we have a problem. Same goes for the Mormans who pulled aside a gay couple for kissing near their temple.

The Constitution was written based upon the fundamentals of Christianity. But sure, the concept of God. No matter what the religion, they should be allowed to pray to whomever god they believe in, in school.

This is good news, but it is (another) sad day and sign of our decline in this country, when Christians in America have to have their rights legislated back to them.

Why should Christians have rights? They don't support them for anyone else.
