Yep - all the same color. Know why?

Default Same Colors

I think the color rules are great. I visited Jerusalam and it was the same. Build with Jerusalem stone. Looks beautiful. Cities can and should have such vision. Look at the chaos NYC is architecturally/aesthetically. Different strokes.

I love the story about Starbucks, or was it McDonalds and first-ever signage change for the mega corp.

Default Flagstaff Is Socialistic

I am a Libertarian / Economic Liberal, meaning economic prosperity for all Americans. That's not the definition of a Socialist.

A Socialist believes in strong government intervention/regulation - and/or - ownership of private companies.

The locals in Flagstaff are socialistic, since they keep new businesses out with regulations enacted by the City Council.

Compare that to Boulder, Albuquerque, where new businesses / entrepreneurs are encouraged.

As a Libertarian on individual liberties, I could absolutely care less what someone's firearm collection looks like.

Arizona depends on California for its economic livelihood.

If you suddenly expelled all west-coasters, your state would have less than a million people.

Your posts indicate that you don't want more people in Arizona.

Your City councils certainly enact policies making the place anti-business, such as the building restrictions on color and height, and huge impact fees.

I prefer to be in more "economically libertarian" states than Arizona

Trust me - we prefer to not have you in Arizona either. We have, do, and will do just fine without the likes of you.

Sedona is a great example - having all the buildings / homes blend in with the spectacular Red Rock -

Somehow purple does not go well with Red Rock as a backdrop!

"Left leaning Libertarians" such as myself who are Pro-Union (vs. "Right Leaning Libertarians") have more in common with Liberal Democrats ... so based on your previous posts and Arizona's conservative anti-business/anti-union policies, you're probably correct!
