After relocation to Kingman over 4 years ago I can not take it anymore and feel I must leave while I still can so read on to find out my view.
The main areas of lacking in the Kingman area are the medical practice areas and common sense.
First off the hospital is run on the good ole boy program Moderator cut: no consumer complaints and secondly most of the population lacks education as well as common sense. You can just go find out for yourself very easy, just ask a question ! Moderator cut: noconsumer complaints

You can find those problems anywhere, and if you have dealt with what you feel is incompetence for 4 years, then yes, it is time to move. What most people fail to realize is they need to be in control of their health and medical care, it is their job to be informed as much as possible and if they do not agree with what a health care provider says, then that is what a second, third opinion is for. The health care professionals are there to work with you, you are paying them. If you disagree with something, ask them, make them come up with something that will work or could work, or find someone else, maybe you could be wrong if you hear the same thing?...Everyone assumes the doc knows best...I have a granddaughter that went into kidney failure about 4 years ago...the head of the pediatric nephrology department at a major children's facility in Minneapolis told me that some day he will be able to tell me what caused it...he is human and admitted he had no clue...thankfully she is doing well now...

There's a brand new hospital in town, the Hualapai Medical Center which just opened. That's in addition to existing the award-winning KRMC hospital, which has some fantastic docs they've recruited from around the country. Do we have specialists in every single medical discipline in the world here? No, there's not a large enough population to support every specialty in existence. However, you will never, ever, find a town this size with better medical care.

BTW, I take great offense to your ignorant comment that people in Kingman lack common sense and education. Moderator cut: rude . Good luck to you.

I too have heard it said that medical care in Kingman is now good.

The irony was that 20 years ago; Lake Havasu was the cat's meow-----------not anymore apparently.

I love how people are so negative. He takes the time to create an account here, posts garbage, and then leaves. Such a wonderful contributor. I think there should be a "probation period" for new posters-if you don't post anything of any substance that is positive, you need to be banned.

I agree..when I moved to arizona 15 months ago from NJ. I came to city-data so I could get information about Arizona. I was moving no mater because my husbands job was bringing us here. So I hated when someone would give me alot of negative feedback. No place is perfect..heck I moved from NJ!!! I like it just fine here

Yep! I believe that CD should carefully watch a newbie for around 30 days or so in order to see what their "contribution" really consists of... and if their sole purpose for being here is to dump a load of obligatory venom for whatever reason - then OFF you go, buddy! PERMA-BAN!

If CD was a small community, than I could see that working to an extent. Plus, that is communism.

Then you have to take into consideration the amount of new members CD see's every month. There are not enough moderators on here to do that job.

Then what would your suggestion be - since you claim to subscribe to a non-communist thought process?
