Support Arkansas college bound students and take a chance Wednesday night.

If you are an Arkansas resident and win on Wednesday...........the cash option check will be for $165,852,000.........over 165 MILLION clear !

(and that is your actual check .........after......Federal and Arkansas State taxes are with held.

I hope I win, but if I don't I sure hope someone from Arkansas wins !

Thanks, don't play the lottery too often, but this reminder has made me think I will get a couple of tickets this week.

The reason I hope an Arkansas resident wins is according to a site that breaks down lottery taxes per state..........Arkansas would with hold $17,030,000 from the lump sum cash option.

I would much rather see that 17 million go to Arkansas rather than another state's revenue.

The thing that motivates me to buy a lottery ticket in AR is the fact that it helps to fund a college student's education. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't buy one.

Yes, when I lived in Minnesota they joined the lottery in the late 1980's and designated their lottery proceeds to.........."arts and the environment "

( about as vague as you can get)

I then read about Georgia designating their proceeds to resident students' college scholarships .
I was glad to hear Arkansas also designated their proceeds similar.

yep, I guess they didn't feel sorry enough for any of us to let someone here win. One number doesn't win anything and that is what I had; nothing!!!

ya got to learn that these big jackpots, the winners are always in some retirement state or big factory states. PA,NJ,IN,FL are always winners in these events. Every once and a while, CA will hit it. or IA.. reason is big pools that buy alot of numbers to better thier chances. Learn that this is a one winner ticket is a good deal..
