The trouble with the dubai skyline is that the new really tall building makes the other buidlings around it look tiny. Personally i think its turned dubais skyline from nice looking to rather bland.
Too bad the tourism industry in Dubai will grow much larger by the time the UAE runs out of oil. If i go to Dubai im not going there for oil ill go there to check out Dubai Mall, Burj, Go to the beach, palm island, etc..
Not to mention oil only makes up something like 5% of their GDP.
I can't believe nearly half of people voted Atlanta. I have not heard of anyone wishing to visit Atlanta because of its skyline. Infact the last person I know that visited the city was not impressed with the city. However I know some people that have visited Dubai because of its skyline.
It's only tied because this is a US-centric forum. No one in their right mind would choose the Atlanta skyline over Dubai.
But many in the U.S. and many on this forum, irrationally hate Atlanta.
