Whenever I get my life together, I'm saving up for a trip to Singapore. What can I say, Asia is a fascinating place.

This is an old thread, not sure why the necropost. The Marina Bay Sands have been there for years.
I find Singapore a bit boring myself. I don't find it representative of Asia at all...a bit too sterile for my tastes.

By the time I realized how old the thread was, I was locked out of deleting my post. My mistake.

Sterile and modern are my ideal living arrangements. I could always visit more interesting areas, especially if a continent as culturally rich as Asia is right in your backyard.

I plan on staying at the Marina Bay Sands next time I am in Singapore. Been wanting to check it out for years but can never fit it into my budget.
