Does anyone know how to apply for a Table Games position in Dubai? I have been a dealer in Las Vegas for 23 years and would be interested in relocating to Dubai... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I would guess you will need to find a Dubai employer to sponsor you for a work visa - maybe enquire here Welcome to the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC | UAE Embassy in Washington, DC

I would go to the web sites for casinos in Dubai. Also if you can not speak another language I do not think your chances will be good.

Good luck!

It will be very hard to get a job as a dealer in Dubai since there are no casinos there and gambling is illegal.

Agree with jehfes. I lived in Dubai for 10 years. The only gambling I knew about in the Emirates was conducted offshore on large yachts. Since gambling is forbidden in a Muslim country, I'd be surprised if that law has changed.

I think there is a lot of activities that go on in certain venues that hold licences like hotels where you can buy alcohol and there are also nightclubs in Dubai so there may well be casinos at privately owned establishments.

Dubai now boasts a casino that is nearly a mile long. I know of a two pit bosses who found work there and have returned to Vegas to say they love it and will never return. Unfortunately, I don't know these bosses personally.

Sorry, but you are mistaken. Here's an article from earlier this month about the lack of casinos in Dubai: Casinos would boost Dubai hotels - exec - Travel & Hospitality - ArabianBusiness.com

Dubai casino list

This site lists two race course, one is a race course and club owned by Indians...perhaps that is private and allows gambling for foreigners, and that's it.

Uh why would you want to relocate to an Islamofascist dictatorship in the middle of nowhere, from Las Vegas of all places?
