It also reinforces a dynamic that I in fact posted on in another thread.
And that demographic/religious dynamic is: it seems that the states which are comprised of the most religious people are also the poorest states. (for example: in the Deep South).
And, conversely, the states which boast the least religious populations and the highest percentage of atheists seem to enjoy the highest quality of life; health; education levels, etc.
So..it fairly begs the question: Does it not seem as if praying to god or jesus or whoever does not really yield any advantages. To wit: why are the people who pray the most and are the most devout also the worse off. Why doesn't god reward his flock? or even protect them from ill health, which is also rampant in the Believer states.
And why are us godless heathens being rewarded? LOL.
Ergo: what good does praying do? Except perhaps as a placebo affect?
yep, that map confirms that a society is better off when "god" first, "country" second, and "religions", at best, third. I kinda wish religions had the political power of the local soccer club, but that's just me.
