My husband and I relocating to Atl and we will be working in Douglasville and Buckhead. Where should we look at to purchase a home? We have a small child so we would like an area with great schools, playgrounds, etc. Also, we would like to be near restaurants. We are looking for a single family home in the 700,000 to 1,000,000 price range. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

How often to Douglasville and what time of day?

Do you mind a commute to Douglasville?

I wouldn't do Dunwoody it is far from Douglasville....

Buckhead would be first choice if one spouse doesn't mind a commute...

I will be driving to Douglasville weekdays 9ish-5ish. I am relocating from Los Angeles so traffic doesn't bother me too much but I would like to keep my commute <30 minutes each way. Thank you again for any advice.

Vinings not the best schools...With that price range try to find a house in Buckhead with a good school, or something in between...
