My family is looking for an interesting and vibrant neighborhood in atlanta that is cosmopolitan and progressive. When we say some sophistication we don't mean snooty we mean well managed and a variety of activities, events, shopping, and restaurants you can take anyone form around the world and be proud of. We have four school and teenaged children who like sports, entertainment, good dining, and travel... any suggestions?

Urban, or suburban?

Peachtree Hills is my recommendation in addition to the neighborhoods George suggested.

I live here and love it. It's a very electric group of people here and the neighborhood is dead center between the heart of buckhead and the heart of midtown.
