I will be moving to Atlanta next year with my wife and two teenagers. I will be working in Vinings and need to start thinking about where to look for a house. My price range would be in the 400-600 range. Most important for me is finding the right school for my kids. I have moved them a couple of times and have always found the big "machine" type schools. They dont want that this time and I understand. They are both great students but would like to find a school with a smaller, more comfortable setting. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

What grades will they be in when you move? Are you moving mid-year?
Could you share a little more about what you do or don't want in a school?

We will be moving at the begining of next summer. When my kids start school the following year my daughter will be in 11th grade and my son will be in 8th. My daughter is taking the thought of a move really hard. She excels academically but does not make freinds as easily as my son. She wants a smaller school. I could do private but would rather stay in public schools.
