We've been to Seaside several times and love the 'cottage community' feel. Not the most dog-friendly beach community so we're looking to try something new in the spring. Anyone have recs for a great (Quaint) beach town that offers stuff for kids and is dog friendly? I've heard St. Simons and Amelia Island are good but I want to avoid 'the strip' type of feel. Thanks!

A bit further away is St. George Island, near Appalachicola. Very quiet, not commercialized and very dog friendly.
