We have 3 boys and spend all spring and fall on the soccer field/flag football, winter on the basketball court, and spring at the tee ball field.....in our city (here in Novi michigan) we have a community sports park where all the soccer games and baseball games are played....and we have tons of parks and our city is surrounded by side walks and bike paths...its a great place for kids...(and great schools)....As far as finding that in a n. Atlanta suburb....would I find that in Roswell , would about E. Cobb? Would Woodstock have that as well? Please advise....

Also...our oldest boy (7 years old) is heavy into hockey ...what about youth hockey...I've heard Marietta and Roswell both have rinks...

Thanks for any input!!!!

Where do you work? That's biggest question.

Suwanee is another possibility if commuting is not an issue. Suwanee is home of Atlanta Thrashers home facility. Many hockey players live in the area while commuting to Philip arena during the game. Its high school Peachtree Ridge high ranked No.1 in hockey in the State, not surprising really. Nearby Sugarloaf CC is also home of many Atlanta Falcons players. So Peachtree Ridge high has one of best football teams as well. They won a shared of Georgia State title last year.

I'd live in Alphraetta, especially if your husband will be working there. Here's a link to sports and recreation in the area. There are lots of leagues and parks.

South Forsyth also has great sports programs. Including baseball, soccer and football. If you lived in Suwanee, Duluth or Alpharetta portion of south forsyth you would be albe to easily access the ice rink for hockey also.
