I'm a single woman, no kids, looking to relocate to a warmer climate on the cheap.

I own a business, and need to know if that area is in-home-business friendly, as well.

My other concern, obviously, is for safety. While I don't mind a neighborhood that is revitalizing, one where I have to be armed to leave the house is not an option.

You will need to give us a better address description to make sure we comment on the correct location.

Metro Atlanta in general is fine for in-home business as long as this is not a location that you will have customers coming to your home and therefore increased traffic in the neighborhood. You will need to check with city and your neighborhood to make sure there are no restictions.

The address I have is 595 Woods Dr NW in Atlanta.

I am also considering another property in Decatur, #2493 Terrace Trl condominiums.

My business is mostly internet based, and I would be quite surprised indeed if someone besides the UPS man were to show up RE: the business.

Is either of these in a safe area, or should I forget it?

did you really post the addresses?

Next time do a cross street (Roswell Rd and Abernathy). Please go back and edit your post and remove the house numbers.
