Hello everyone,

I will be moving with my wife to Atlanta in July and am currently looking at some 1 or 2 bedroom apartments for lease through different sites including Craigslist... However, I'm somewhat worried that every time I see something that seems to be similar to what I'm looking for I find horrible reviews at sites such as apartmentratings.com (which I have no idea of how trustworthy it is).

In any case, I thought I'd ask if anyone here knows any of these or has any info on how good/bad they are:
I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any info on any of these places! Or any recommendations on 1 or 2 bedroom apartments on (or maximum 10 minute car drive from) Garden Hills for maximum $1100 (including utilities)...

I've seen a lot of those same places, and while I wouldn't say they seem too good to be true, their prices compared to the surrounding area prices do seem a bit too competitive.

And yea, the reviews for a lot of these nicely priced property management companies are not so great.

A majority of the people posting on those apartment rating sites are the ones who had bad experiences. It's not a very broad cross-section of the complex population. Very few people will go online to say "Yeah, it's pretty much as I expected it to be". It's always the lady whose cat got stolen and has a leaky toilet and mold under the sink.
