Atlanta's international community is growing rapidly, but it started later than the rest of the largest dozen or so metro areas. Compared to Atlanta of 20 years ago or Nashville or Birmingham or Jacksonville, its got a pretty diverse international community. But not compared to San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, Miami or DC, let alone NY or LA. And the cuisine in those cities reflects that.

(BTW, other than LA and Hong Kong, Houston probably has the largest Vietnamese community outside Vietnam. And it has a long standing sizable Korean community as well-I don't want to derail this thread-its supposed to be about Atlanta restaurants).

Atlanta has a variety of good pizza places. Although I'm not as big a fan of Fellini's as the rest of my family. I prefer pizzas that emphasize the tomato sauce more.

I've been to Houston a few times, and I wasn't blown away by their food. Of course, it's hard to see everything in a city whose city limits are defined so wide. It's probably much easier to find food areas in Atlanta.

Meanwhile, as far as food in the Southeast, people seem to be overlooking Miami, and to a lesser degree, Charlotte, both of which have some interesting options.

To those of you wailing and rending your garments over the alleged lack of good seafood in Atlanta, I submit the following:
