Hello everyone I am currently a senior in college really thinking about moving to the Atlanta area after I graduate. I'm born and raised in Phoenix and only been to Atlanta twice (once was a layover and the other time I was there for a conference and didn't get a chance to explore the city). I'm attracted to Atlanta because it has a diversified economy, affordable cost of living, it's a moderate climate, I love the South, and I love the history and amenities of the city. I'm double majoring and will have two degrees when I graduate a B.S. in Tourism Management and a B.S. in Communications. I'm interested in hospitality jobs as well as marketing/media relations. I currently work for Starwood Hotels&Resort at a Westin property but I'm open to all job types not just hotels which I can always get a job at. How's the job market in Atlanta overall? How's the nightlife scene? I'm not really into the wild clubbing scene and people grinding on each other and taking shots until 4am and paying ridiculous cover charges and all that other jazz. I like to go to chill bars with cool bands, I love comedy clubs with awesome DJ's, and just anything chill really. I'm also nerdy I love museums and sightseeing so please offer suggestions there as well. I will be moving there pretty much by myself I don't have any family there or anything. I really need to get out of my comfort zone though and spread my wings so any and all advice is much appreciated.

Atlanta is perfect for that. I'm 24 and bought a house in the NE metro area, but I am in the city literally every weekend because there is so much to do. Massive music scene with countless bars to go check out local bands, huge rockstars, and whatever in between. The park is great to go to just to hang out, get some exercise in, check out events going on... The city is great for people on bikes with the trails they've added as well. With as often as I go to Atlanta, it still amazes me that no two weekends have felt similar...Plenty to do.
