I visited Cliff Valley school for a Prospective Parent meeting tonight and was pleasantly surprised. They have a lovely facility and an impressive program. I liked their openness to having parents involved and their focus on social development as well. I am definitely interested in learning more and booking a personal tour to see the school during the day.

Friends I saw this weekend have kids at Cliff Valley and LOVE it. Their only concern is where to go for high school (they are in Druid Hills district).

This. Their middle school is a fairly new (in fact, if there is an 8th grade, this may be the first class.) But people have adored this school since it was only a preschool.

Thanks ATLJan and lastminutemom. it seems like a wonderful school. Do you know if when it was only a pre-school if it had a different name? I read some interesting articles about "Atlanta Progressive School" which, from my research, I believe is now defunct. Hopefully the two have no relation.

It was Cliff Valley when my now grown children were in preschool-- I think progressive was a different school.
Cliff Valley has been attracting highly educated families from the surrounding area for years, so I think you are good to go.
