looking for where mobile homes and such are within access of north side Atlanta, just a single nothing fancy. It is not for me btw. I know that certain communities tend of have clusters of them so if you can recommend a town or general area that would be great. Every park is different so it's a matter of seeing what it looks like inside obviously but preferably in a community that doesn't have failing schools or horrible crime. Anything in Forsyth County that you know of? Thanks.

For a buddy of mine working in Atlanta and needs inexpensive and won't live in an apartment (wierd aversion to sharing walls)

I can't answer your question directly, but I spent a long time thinking you had to go pretty far outside the city of Atlanta to see trailers. At least, I had never seen any in the metro area.

Like you said, they are usually in clusters in certain areas. However, just a couple of months ago, I noticed that there is a small, out of the way, mobile home neighborhood right next to Sugarloaf Mills. I had never noticed it before, but by the looks of it, it's been there for at least several years.

So it seems like there are mobile homes sort of here and there, in random places, and not concentrated. Maybe there are concentrations somewhere in the metro, but I'm not aware of an other parks close to this one. I was pretty shocked when I saw it, but it is nestled away pretty well.

There are a few small groups of MH in Forsyth,

Most of the ones I;ve seen are stand alone on some lot, that have been there for decades i'm sure.

You're going to have to go really far north I'd imagine...I mean, north of Atlanta are the wealthiest areas of the entire metro so you'll probably have to head closer to Dawsonville or something.

Cobb has a few trailer parks, other than the ones already mentioned.

Two I know of offhand are at the northwest corner of Hwy 41 and Barrett Pkwy in Kennesaw, and off of Gray Rd between Church St and Smyrna-Powder Springs Rd. in Smyrna. I think there also might be a little one just north of Windy Hill off of Favor Rd., which would be Marietta.
