Craziness knows no boundary. Sometimes we get lucky and can kindly and skillfully navigate through this thing called the human condition. Sometimes not so much. Here's hoping for more of the former than latter going forward. I have a feeling the whole myth of race will still take quite awhile to completely fall out of favor. Until it does, we'll keep having these (and much worse) kinds of unnecessary episodes. Sigh.

Please, don't get me wrong. I HATE those bastards who terrorize our neighborhoods. Yes, I'm talking about Black people. I know that I'm not alone in this sentiment. I know that lots of Black people are disgusted by our criminal behavior. It would be simple to take up arms and destroy every one of our neighborhood terrorists. However, that would not get rid of the dynamic that produces these terrorists in the first place. I'm interested in destroying that dynamic. That dynamic is racism.

Racism is NOT a white person calling Black people the n word. Racism is the dynamic that makes Black people believe that we are n words. I accept the Positive Kemetic Visions definition of the n word: a n word is a life, unworthy of life. Many Black people have internalized this definition. That's why it's so easy for Black folk who believe that Black folk, including themselves, are n words, to destroy other Black folk.

Now, my answer to your question. I heard someone from the video say, "You don't argue with crazy people." He's correct. They should have quietly remained seated or quietly exited. Speak not with your mouth, speak with your wallet!

Notice how the topic started with a principal making a racist comment at a school graduation ceremony and by page 10 it's just a bunch of white people talking about genocide in Africa. Y'all just can't stand to stay on the topic, can you?

The whole thing is just so damn sad. I watched an interview with one of the graduates last night, and he wasn't angry, you could tell he just couldn't believe he was having to put up with this garbage at his high school graduation.

I felt SO bad for the students and the valedictorian in particular. That principal utterly ruined what is supposed to be the first major milestone on the road to adulthood for those kids and that's so very unfortunate.

It's a psychological diversionary tactic. Let's talk about something that doesn't involve me becoming more self-aware of my thoughts, actions, and/or feelings about this "touchy" topic. However, if we talk about something else where I can "prove" those individuals wrong and has moral superiority then that is strategy.

The sad thing about this whole topic is no one "with an anything but..." opinion will respond to things that are substantiated rather focus on the theoretical of this incident. The video is the burden of proof of the prior to, act of, and effects of her actions, but...

Once of these days I would like to see the more conservative city-data folks approach a person like Nancy Gordeuk and simply say "hey buddy your actions are wrong and we will not tolerate them".

I know that's a big order to fill.
