While true, but a train station was 1 mile away and MARTA provide frequent shuttle bus service free with a transfer.
Word on the street is the Braves are in talks with MARTA to run shuttles from stations to the stadium. Those buses will get caught in traffic, but it's a start.

If I were MARTA I'd tell them to take a hike unless the Braves were paying for it.

I would hope so, isn't that how the current agreement is? I know they threatened to shut down the service because Liberty Media was too cheap to fund it.

I'll put $100 on the table that says at least two of those places (or similar...TGI Fridays, Chili's, etc) will be included in the development. And they should be. Not everyone wants or can afford chef-driven restaurants.

Well I could say "At least they are getting their foot in the door" but then the other side of my brain is saying "either all or none"

Actually, Federal law prohibits MARTA from operating privately-funded "charter" shuttle service. This was less of an issue for AFCS/The Ted due to being relatively close to existing MARTA stations. However, MARTA should not be put on the hook for a much longer shuttle route that would extend outside the MARTA service area.

Cobb is treating MARTA like a prostitute. They want to use her service (shuttle) but don't want to put a ring on it ( 1 cent tax)
