I am seeking feedback about this school from parents who have a child currently/formerly enrolled there. My child does not have autism, but I like what I've seen so far. TIA for any feedback.

My kids are grown, but I know many parents and board members there. Do you live in DeKalb?

What are your questions? And what grade is your child?

Yes, we live in Dekalb. My son is in fourth grade, so we would be trying the lottery for sixth grade.
I wasn't thinking of specific questions so much as wanting to get a feel of other's experiences with the school.

It sounds like there is more outside time than other public schools, and the 8:1 children/teacher ratio listed on their website sounds ideal.

He started band this year so we want that to be an option wherever he ends up, and it also sounds like there is an above average emphasis on the arts there (though drama being the focus was my takeaway).

A garden and yoga classes? Sounds pretty awesome to me!

Is Tapestry a school you would have been happy to see your children in when they were younger?

Again, any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.
