Aaron Murray had been smiling and schmoozing on the third floor of the Georgia State football stadium about an hour, weighing in on everything football: from his view on the West Coast offense and working with Michael Vick to predictions about the then-upcoming SEC Championship dual between Georgia and Alabama. With the press corps satisfied, the Atlanta Legends' PR team ushered Murray's smiling face down to the field.
Then he looked back into the lens and started another aspect of his new job:
The screen time and promos are all part of the territory now for Murray, the face and future of Atlanta's new startup professional football team, The Atlanta Legends, which will kickoff in February for the new Alliance of American Football league. And it'd be hard to imagine a more perfect fit for the Legends than putting University of Georgia football's golden boy behind center — not only because of his record-setting glory days as a Bulldog, but also because of his off-the-field ability as a spokesperson and marketer for the new franchise..."
