I don't know a thing about Atlanta but by looking at the map, it looks like this area is considered North Atlanta, true?

This may be wishful thinking but I was wondering if there are communities within 30-45 min. of this area with housing in the $200-300K price range with good schools and low crime rates? Any thoughts would be appreciated!
