Anyone have any recommendations for apartment complexes in this area?

I'm going through apartment finders, and apartment guide, and there are SO many for me to look at, so I wanted some personal opinions, so I don't spend the next 9848723478 weekends looking
-- Where should I go? What should I stay away from and why?

I'm completely new to the area, and I just want to go somewhere that's safe and not too far from civilization.

Those are my only two requirements!

Thanks, all!

Is that your phone number you just posted on here on the slick ?!? And if you don't want to be far from civilization, there are some apartments right off S. Cobb (literally) and you will have your in and out access to the interstate, civilization, and city in less than 15 mins.

What is your budget and for what size apartment.

You should chek with Promove - right off Cobb Parkway. They get excellent recommendations from many on this site.

Hahahah I hope nobody calls that number. I didn't even realize I'd mashed enough numbers for a phone #

Thanks for the advice!

My budget's around $1000, for anything over 700 sq feet. 1 bedroom probably.

I lived in Belmont Park Apartments across from Belmont Hills Shopping Center and Benson Poole Apartments beside Cobb Center Mall (Fountain Square Mall) in the mid-90's. Definitely not a good place to be out after dark in those days, but the rent was cheap. They were both infested with hoards of **** roaches and I felt so much better when I moved out of there for Gainesville.

The nicer Apartments were further North of the Marietta Square near Acworth, Kennesaw, Woodstock, and Canton.

I would highly recommend Post Springs, it was a good value and is high quality. Within a five minute drive is the publix grocery store, downtown vinings, and cobb parkway (highway 41).
