I don't see anything online, nor on tonight's news, but we received an automated phone call about 4:30 today telling us shots were fired on the GSU campus, and the campus was on lock-down. We got the call because our son is a grad student there, but thankfully had already left for the day.

Apparently two rappers' proteges went at it inside Walter's shoe store. Pretty unsettling, considering that my exact route to and from school is past that store.

No shots were fired. I was on GSU campus that afternoon as well. From what I saw in the confusion & what I gathered in hearsay was that there was an argument inside Walter's and apparently a patron threatened to shoot another patron.
Another customer flagged down a GSUPD patrol car as well as an APD motorcycle cop. Next thing you know a whole bunch of police arrived, both from APD & GSUPD with guns drawn and had all parties involved kissing pavement. The campus was not locked down.
That was it. I don't think that this situation was THAT much of a big deal because all the responses happened as it should & the police arrived in a timely basis.

Agreed, it doesn't sound like a big deal at all. But, those automated phone calls can add a few gray hairs to the head of a parent.

They specialize in sneakers. I've bought shoes there many times.
I don't think they sell designer jeans. The clothing they sell is probably more along the lines of hip-hop/athletic wear.
