Has anyone ever participated in this? I was interested in possibly showing up and trying my hand in the 100m and 400m, however I don't know how the meets are structured (in terms of heats, age groups, etc.) and "seriousness." I am 34 and am lucky to break 60 in the 400, but I would enjoy the chance to push myself against other competitors....but if everyone is low 50's or better and decked out in bodysuits, then I might get embarrassed! Any thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I actually went to this last night and it was a lot of fun. TONS of kids, in fact when my daughter is old enough, I will be sure to bring her for the parent/child relay and other races! For $2 it was a great active way to spend a Tuesday afternoon!

It is held at the Emory University track every Tuesday from May 4 to June 15. I will definitely be headed back in two weeks for the 100m and 400m, I ended up with 12.81 sec (100m) and 59.61 sec (400m)...better than I expected, but now I've got the fever to improve!
