How is the Washington Park/Washington Heights area. Just north of Washington Park (the actual park). Is it a decent area?

Its pretty decent but I admit there is crime.You must be vigilant.Not to the notion of being
scared ,but definitely take a step more precautions that you would in quieter area.People don't live in fear but they are watchful.I like the area for the most part.There are some thing I hate too.For instance Publix closed it store just around the corner.The Park again is relatively safe but still its good to always be aware of your surroundings
