Augusta bout to blowup in my Martin Lawrence voice

“We had a great meeting today; we approved a Georgia cities loan, for a project downtown. We announced that there are three or four new businesses opening up. We starting to climb the mountain instead of walking around the mountain.

casino gambling are among the issues Georgia's Republican and Democratic parties are asking their voters to weigh in on this primary election season.

So if this should pass will Augusta step up and allow a casino downtown Augusta. If so how much will it have a impact on Augusta and downtown. I know it will draw more traffic but what other businesses will build or open up around the casino. How much tax dollars do we get off a casino

I would have a 'Board Walk' with several casino boats, restaurant boats, tour boats etc. docked going back in forth from Columbia county(Clarke Hill) to Richmond County(Bush Field). Please no video game gambling on board, only real games. A 5 star food & drink selection and good music. Another idea is a 'floating mall' or shopping on a ship while traveling down a river. Take advantage of the river Augusta!!! It's our only hope.

If casinos are allowed in GA, expect Savannah to reap those benefits. They'll be one in ATL, but a lot in Savannah.
