Has anyone ever tried to email a letter to the editor of the largest Newspaper in the CSRA? The website asks if you are a subscriber. If you check yes, you are verified. If you check no, your letter is not published. Even if you check yes, if your letter in any way criticizes that particular newspaper, it will not be published.
That practice seems to violate the first amendment.

Since when is a for-profit business required by the constitution to air your comments for the world to see? I can understand the frustration, but they have no obligation to do anything with your letter...and most certainly not a constitutional one.
