There was a 'space available' sign on the building that houses Austin Dermcare on Spicewood Springs. Nice building - used to be the main office of a decent sized architecture firm. But it's inconspicuous and somewhat hidden, so that may not be a good thing for the "directionally challenged."

You never stated whether you were inquiring about the area or the actual building, but it seems you got your answer.

Those buildings at the corner of 183/Cameron were leased to the state a few years back. There are office spaces across the street that might still house state employees.

Nevertheless, you might want to check out office spaces at Braker/Metric. HHSC/OIG (state) is housed in buildings H and I. It's a few minutes away from Mopac, and I've seen signs advertising availability.

Cptn, I think that is a viable option.
We are at far west and mopac which is a very easy to reach location. Plaza 7000 is offering some great deals - 18/sq ft and it is a really nice building.

The building next door - one far west has some vacancies.

How many sq ft are you looking for?

Its not a great neighborhood, close to Runberg Lane, which is a high crime area. It is not close to any City or State office buildings that I'm aware of.
DFPS (CPS, APS) used to be housed there between Rutherford and 183 on Cameron. Now they have mostly moved... some up off of Parmer (I think?) and further up 183. The Coordinating Board is also just west of Cameron on 183 and are not moving anytime soon. All are state offices.

I guess it depends on what offices you think you'll be working with more.

I worked for both of those agencies for over 5 years in that area and never felt unsafe.

Good luck!

I looked at spaces through Regus at Plaza 7000. They had an inside office for about $550 per month plus a $30 fee for kitchen services. I am considering a virtual office initially and that way I can rent space by the hour either at Plaza 7000 or in Round Rock.

I would love to rent an office on my own there outside of Regus since the Regus prices for a dedicated office are a bit out of my range. I do think they offer a good product though.

I'm looking for just 150-175 sq feet for around $400-500. I only need an office and ideally, a shared reception for now. I'm just starting out.

In my original thread I mentioned government workers. The reason for that is that I will likely build my initial client base by providing services to those with legal insurance like TLPP. Eventually I will have referral business and my client base will diversify.
