looks like we are getting a front coming in. Winds are from the north at 20-30 mph and the temperature is forecasted to be mid to low 80's next week

Well, I'd hardly call that "cold front" but it will be nice to have some cooler temperatures!

Upper 50's to lower 60's for the morning and upper 80's up north (RR/Georgetown) and lower 90's down south (S. Austin) for the afternoon highs.

I think I'll be spending much of the day in the yard doing some chores that I postponed because of the heat. Mow, edge, probably trim branches, and then maybe go for a long hike. It'll be nice to be able to hike in mild conditions.

Also, the weather today is quite lovely too. The stagnant air of the dog days of summer is gone (when it was 113 with no breeze). The breezes are back! Even though it's 100 today, the breeze is nice!

The really hot weather was from early June until early September this year! That is just 3 months!

ACL should be great this year!
