I'm visiting Austin, and I'll have a couple of hours to kill in an afternoon... I was thinking of walking a part of the trail at Lady Bird Lake for a bit of relaxing and to enjoy some views of the city. What do you think is the best place to park and walk if I only had to spend about an hour, two max, on this?

I'd park at Auditorium Shores at Riverside and S. First. Head west first to the Stevie Ray Vaughn statue and then head back east to the Congress bridge and then back to the car. Great views from Zilker Park if you wanted to stop over there.

You really can't go wrong with most anywhere on the trail.

Lou Neff Point in Zilker Park is very nice with a great view of the skyline.
