Can anyone recommend a solid/engineered hardwood installer they have recently used in Austin?

What price did you pay per sqft of install?

Thanks for your help.

I was just quoted $2.00/sq.ft for a floating floor and $2.50/sq.ft for a bamboo floor. I did not get a quote for a normal (not bamboo) glue-down floor. This is from the people doing our remodel whom I would not recommend unless you are an infinitely patient person.

I would recommend you go with a floating floor vs glued down. With our weather the floor needs to breath (expand and contract).

That's in the right neighborhood for pre-finished hardwood floor install (higher for finish in place). I just had some floors installed by Boardwalk Floor Installations and was very happy with their work. I bought my wood at Lumber Liquidators. 512.965.9675
