I see bricks, blocks and other materials on Craigslist all the time.

Honestly, bricks at Home Depot are decently-priced.

I have used chopped limestone for raised beds, but also used cement stacking blocks (the kind used for small retaining walls) and have filled in with other types of bricks/blocks (there are many) and either Lowe's or Home Depot. There are also lots of stone and rock places around that would sell chopped limestone, I imagine. I haven't checked the prices, though.
