Did anyone run yesterday? We did and it was AMAZING. 15,000 red shirts through downtown. Austin is a runner's town, no question about it. We were also the only small town picked for the Nike Human Race, which was run in cities like London, Paris, Rome, Chicago, Bogota, Rio.... it was great. So far, Austin placed SECOND fastest behind Taipei!

Yep, I was there too, running around Austin - it was a huge turnout - even bigger than NYC's!

A sea of red, I could see them all, as I was at the back!!!

It was a wonderful experience...

Right there with you!
15,000 people....amazing. Lots of runners in from Dallas, Houston, San Antonio. The results are up if you returned your chip, by the way!

Congrats to everyone!

I did it as well! What a great event. It was my first race, so I was pleased to complete the entire thing without having to walk at all! Especially in that heat I was a bit behind the average pace but...I finished!

I think I came in around 5,000th place. Considering 15,000 runners, I guess that puts me in the upper third LOL!

Also, there was a photo crew out taking pics. You give them your name, email and race number and they will email pics of you during the race. I talked to one of the photographers and he said chances are you'll be in several. Here's the link:

Go to "find photo" and then type in Human Race and choose city.

Those hills...those hills...
